A Mid 19th Century Italian Giltwood Overmantel Mirror

A mid 19th century Italian giltwood overmantel mirror, in the Rococo style of waisted hourglass form with a carved crested top and with extensive C-scrolls and carved foliate motifs around a central panel with slender columns with carved capitals and further scrolls, over a point with stiff carved leaves and C-scrolls. Italian circa 1840.
Condition: Overall very good, the mirror is in excellent condition with no marks or discolouration to the plate, the frame is in good condition with one small piece missing to the left hand side, overall the mirror has a great appearance with good colour and condition to the gilding.
