Condition Report:

This is a fine quality antique English Georgian mahogany armchair, in the style of a Chippendale chair, ideal as a dining / office or occasional chair, with a newly upholstered seat, circa 1780, in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair but nothing significant considering their age. Old period repairs to the top rail and the right-hand arm where it joins the backrest – these joints are completely solid. The Georgian mahogany armchair has been glued solid in joint and the chair frame has been French polished in our workshop by hand, to a professional standard, therefore, the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. The seat has been newly upholstered to a professional standard. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from wear and marks. This Georgian mahogany dining chair is solid in joint and ready to be used.
