A stunning 19th century tea caddy in red japanned papier-mache finish, beautifully decorated with chinoiserie scenes on all sides. The hinged lid opens to reveal

two tea compartments retaining the original lining and two shaped floating lids with turned handles.

A superb example, in remarkable original condition.
