Regency Pier Glass Mirror Gilt Wood

Description

This is an elegant Regency period Giltwood mirror in very nice original condition dating from around 1820. The frame retains its original water gilded finish which has a lovely colour and is nicely rubbed back in places. The architectural columns are capped with finely detailed carved scrolling Corinthian capitols and the mirror has a deeply bevelled plate which is in nice clean condition.

A good useable size this has nice proportions measuring 58 cms high by 49 cms wide by 4 cms deep.
