Large Georgian Antique Country Armchair

A lovely English 18th century antique country armchair made in solid mahogany that is a very good colour. An ample sized and comfortable Georgian chair that features an unusual ‘draught excluder’ solid back panel with very shapely arms that are supported by turnings. The drop in seat pad is upholstered in old oil cloth and this oversized antique armchair stands on square legs that are joined by a H stretcher. In excellent, strong and original condition. Dates to around 1770.
