Superb quality antique Victorian burr walnut brass bound writing box having brass bounded corners and edges around a superior quality burr walnut writing box opening to reveal a writing surface inkwells, pen tray and two lift up lids opening to reveal storage compartments and three secret drawers

A delightful example which is engraved to the top with “Presented to William Murdoch on the Occasion of his Marriage by the Employees at Craigside Works, 5th July 1878”
