Strictly Vetted Dealers

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. FAQs

A haberdashery cabinet is a specialized commercial storage unit used in nineteenth and early twentieth-century draperies and dry goods stores to display and store small items such as ribbons, threads, buttons, and garments.

Edwardian shop fittings were predominantly constructed from solid hardwoods such as oak or mahogany, featuring dovetail drawer joints, frame-and-panel side construction, and brass shell or cup drawer pulls.

Authentic pieces exhibit natural wear patterns on drawer runners, period-accurate joinery techniques, original aged brass hardware with dark oxidisation, and slight movement or shrinkage in solid wood side panels.

In modern residential settings, haberdashery cabinets serve as statement storage in dining rooms, living spaces, or dressing rooms, providing organized storage for clothes, linens, or curated collections.

Regular maintenance involves dusting with a dry microfibre cloth and periodic application of natural beeswax along the timber grain to preserve the finish and nourish the wood.
