The Real Wood Furniture Company has dated these Antique Ash Dining Chairs to the 19th Century.
Indeed the design has been replicated by numerous chair makers over the years with examples still being made today. These 8 chairs form a ‘superior’ set, in terms of originality and colour. They were sold by a well known West Country dealer in 2003 for £5,000.

The set comes with shaped and zipped tie-on cushions for each chair.
Restoration / Condition: Small patches on arms of one armchair above arm support turnings. Evidence of some historic wood worm. So many of this style of chair have undergone restoration of one kind or another over the years, so it is rare to find a set in such original condition.
