Description

Antique Victorian rosewood and Tondridge Ware box 17cm wide and in excellent, original condition.

It has a wide band of inlay in all different woods to the edges of the top and front, and on the top is a central cartouche in Tonbridge Ware of a corrnucopia with flowers, and a matching Tonbridge Ware escutcheon. It comes complete with key.

This beautiful box came to us completely empty and so we have lined it in burgundy velvet, other than that is is perfectly original and without damage of any sort.

Ideal as a jewel box, a document box, or simply a beautiful article to give pleasure every day.
