FAQs

Queen Anne Revival furniture from the 1930s incorporates 18th-century design elements, including cabriole legs, pad feet, and shell carvings, rendered with early 20th-century craftsmanship and figured wood veneers.

These cabinets typically feature solid mahogany framework with flame mahogany veneers, fitted glass shelves and door panels, and cast brass handle hardware.

Authentic pieces from this period exhibit hand-carved detailing on the legs and pediment, hand-cut dovetail joints on lower drawers, and matching timber grain alignment across veneer panels.

A glazed display cabinet can be positioned in a dining room or living space to present modern ceramics, glassware, or book collections against contemporary wall tones.

Dust the timber surfaces with a clean cloth and apply natural beeswax twice yearly along the grain. Clean glass panels using a microfibre cloth lightly dampened with liquid glass cleaner, avoiding direct contact with the wooden frame.
