Philip Hunt Antiques has dated this Mahogany Glazed Side Cabinet to the 1920s.
The cabinet is fitted with four astragal-glazed doors, opening to reveal a useful interior with adjustable shelves.

Particularly noteworthy are the brass closing moulds to the doors, a traditional feature associated with quality cabinetmaking and a detail that adds both character and substance to the piece. Above the doors is a decorative frieze incorporating finely executed blind fretwork, whilst the top of the cabinet is surmounted with a small upstand.

Presented in good condition, this is an exceptionally attractive and decorative piece of mahogany furniture, offering both excellent display space and timeless period appeal.
