The high backrest includes a pierced scroll cresting with carved flowerheads, foliate scrolls, and a central shell motif, flanked by barley twist uprights with turned finials. The arms terminate in scrolled grips, supported by spiral turned uprights that match the legs, which are joined by an intricately carved front stretcher featuring central shell and scroll work. The cane work is visible on both the backrest panel and the seat. In terms of dimensions, the armchair measures 118 cm high, 58 cm wide, and 67 cm deep, with a seat height of 41 cm.
