The back is secured to the seat by splayed moulded scroll arms, raised on shaped vertical supports. The stuff over seat has been newly upholstered in top quality pink & green floral pattern silk embroidered upholstery, with traditional hessian material to the underside. Therefore, the seat is in excellent and clean condition, with no marks or signs of wear and tear. The seat is firm, but comfortable; you do not sink into the seat. The Hepplewhite style chair is raised on moulded front legs, united by stretchers for additional support, to the sabre legs to the rear. Ideal for use as an office desk chair, or dining chair.

Here is a fine quality antique English Hepplewhite style chair, constructed in the Victorian period, circa 1880, which has been newly upholstered, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, frames and legs, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The stuff over seat has been newly upholstered in top quality Pink & green floral pattern silk embroidered upholstery, with traditional hessian material to the underside. Therefore, the seat is in excellent and clean condition, with no marks or signs of wear and tear. The seat is firm, but comfortable; you do not sink into the seat. The Hepplewhite style chair boasts a lovely colour and patination, having been cleaned and French polished in our workshop. The Hepplewhite style chair is solid in joint, does not wobble and is ready to use.
