A good quality figured mahogany Sheraton Revival inlaid bookcase. The top section having an inlaid swan neck pediment with central turned finial above a dentil cornice. The 13 pane astragal glazed doors having satinwood banding between box wood and ebony stringing with brass closing strip and working lock & key, the interior with 2 fixed shelves. The base section having further satinwood banding with Sheraton motifs and 2 central drawers flanked by 2 banks of 3 drawers all with brass pierced back plate handles. The cabinet is raised on square tapering legs with inlaid graduated harebells and boxwood stringing. Dimensions:- Height…81''/ 205.5cm. Width…39.5''/ 100cm. Depth of Base…19.75''/ 50cm.
