Cavers Antiques has dated this French Ormolu Mantel Clock to the Victorian era.
There are 2 winged cherubs sitting above the clock and some rockery with a small ewer to one side.
All sitting on an ormolu and rouge marble base.

The quality is outstanding and the condition is very good.
You will see in the pictures the casting is of outstandingly high quality.
The numerals are French porcelain.
I have had the works cleaned and the clock is working perfectly. It stricks on a small bell.

I date this clock around 1860/80.
