Circa 1810, Georgian sarcophagus shaped tea caddy in an unusual type of very figured mahogany. The sarcophagus shape lid with boxwood inlay, opening to a fitted interior with inlaid boxes and hand blown tinted glass mixing bowl. The waisted body with further boxwood inlay, brass lion head handles and cast bun feet.
