A superb pair of Arts & Crafts oak open armchairs attributed to Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple.

With three roundels to the top rails, tulip shaped splats, wide outswept arms and square tapering legs, the drop in seats and armrests are upholstered in a green velvet fabric.
