Circa 1850, exhibition quality inlaid mahogany longcase clock by Sam Robson. With stepped hood, topped with a horn top and blind/open fretwork, swags tails, and cast brass circular roundels surmounted by an eagle on a sphere. The Greek key decoration to the top is above a brass and silver dial with a painted moon face. Either side of the door are mahogany and fluted columns with capitals to the top and brass inlay towards the base. The case is profusely inlaid with shells and a fan design, beneath is satinwood banded base on a stepped mahogany plinth.
