Description

Set of four Victorian mahogany dining chairs, the upholstered roll-backs over a row of turned spindles and flanked by moulded uprights, over upholstered seats with serpentine fronts, and raised on turned front and square rear legs. Circa 1870.

The upholstery was renewed some 20 years ago and left at the calico stage for final covering.

(Would benefit from a polish).

Seat width at front: 18.75 inches; 47.5 cms

Seat depth (incl back): 17.5 inches; 45 cms.
