A fine quality early 20th century Chinese Chippendale style carved giltwood mirror.

This mirror consists of an elaborately carved giltwood frame with typical Chinese Chippendale influences including a Pagoda to the top with four supporting columns and suspended bells.

This leads down to an extremely decorative and intricate design of scrolling and entwined foliate carved decoration in the Chinoiserie style.

This mirror is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.

This early 20th century wall mirror is an English Country House piece created in the Chinese Chippendale and Rococo styles. Constructed from giltwood and glass, the frame has a gold finish and incorporates a pagoda pediment with four supporting columns, four suspended hanging bells, asymmetric Rococo foliage, entwined foliate carved decoration, acanthus leaf carving, and C-scrolls framing the rectangular glass mirror plate.
