Description

A highly decorative Edwardian three-fold dressing mirror in mahogany, with a large shaped central plate flanked by two hinged full-length side mirrors. The frame is surmounted by a carved and gilt shell crest with scrolling foliage, while turned urn finials and gilt moulded inner borders give the piece an elegant Georgian Revival character. The three mirror plates retain attractive age-related foxing, particularly to the central glass, adding considerable character and authenticity. The hinged wings allow the mirror to be adjusted to different angles and folded almost completely closed when not in use.
