Antique Victorian Mahogany Carved Armchair

Description

An antique Victorian mahogany carved armchair, with an imposing high back and exceptionally attractive carved frame. The chair features a deeply buttoned upholstered back and seat, with matching upholstered scroll arms. The richly figured mahogany frame is extensively carved with scrolling and foliate decoration, with further carved detail to the front legs and arm supports. Raised on elegant cabriole legs terminating in brass castors.

CONDITION REPORT:

The upholstery is in good overall condition with some minor age-related wear and marks commensurate with age and use.
