Description

A walnut and boxwood shaving glass

The rectangular plate within a moulded frame, on a baluster stem and turned base. The angle of the glass can be adjusted by means of a hinged joint and secured with a brass nut, the glass also rotates on the vertical column. The original mirror plate is uniformly foxed. To the back there is an indistinct label which reads 'London' and a number, perhaps from a past inventory.
