Elmgarden has dated these Victorian Gothic Dining Chairs to the 19th Century.
This is a superb well carved set of High Back Dining Chairs, the carving shows the Fruits of the Forrest and the Face of the Green Man on the carver chairs, the chairs have a good patina and the quality of the carving is first-class.
The chairs have good sturdy oak frames with barley twist turned columns, legs and stretchers, the frames are heavy and the carver chairs benefit from small casters to the front legs making them easy to manoeuvre under the dining table
The carver chairs are 52” high at the back, 25” across the front and seats are 18” high.
