A good quality 19th century set of 10 single and 2 carver dining chairs in light oak. A comfortable well shaped chair with stuffed over upholstery, stamped by the cabinet makers Lamb of Manchester.
The chairs are in good condition, some marks to the upholstery, historic treated woodworm to the underneath, made around 1870, a seating height of 48cm and 49cm to the carvers.
Carver height 91cm W 62.5 D 50cm
James Lamb was a renowned cabinet maker 1840-1899, he supplied the Manchester Town Hall, opening in 1877.
