Krave Antiques has dated this Crocodile Leather Jewellery Box to the 1900s.

The interior of the box is beautifully fitted with a green velvet lining, has several separated compartments for your jewellery and trinkets including a padded ring holder, green removable velvet pads and a lidded storage pot ideal for cufflinks.
Can be opened using the key in the spring loaded lock.

The inside edge is embossed in gold with the details of J C Vickery. 179, 181, 183 Regent Street W.
JC Vickery was a luxury goods retailer in the late 19th and early 20th century which included jewellery and travel items. They held a large number of Royal Warrants including the King and Queen of England (Edward VII and Alexandra), The Kings of Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the King and Queen of Denmark and the Queen of Norway.

This beautiful quality case which is a stunning example is ideal for storing your jewellery, cufflinks and trinkets. Would look wonderful on a dressing table and would make a special gift.
