Beautiful 17th Century Writing Slope Box

Description

A really Beautiful little writing slope box we believe dating to the 17th Century. Its sitting on a later stand around 100 years old but this could be removed. Made from Oak with possibly the best colour and patina we have ever seen. You lift up the original hand forged catch to open the lid and inside 3 little drawers. You can imagine the history and stories this piece could tell….on the front the owners initials carved RS.

In really lovely original condition, a real collectors item must be incredibly rare.
