Description

This is a very attractive all original 19th century French rush seated hall bench. The design is fabulous with the elegant arms and unusual geometric carved front stretchers. The rush seat is in good order and perfectly useable. The rush was covered by upholstery fabric when we bought it so there are traces of upholstery tacks but nothing that takes away from the bench itself. There is also signs of wood worm but now all treated. The size is very neat and would make the ideal hall bench or seat for a boot room. The colour to the timber is very attractive as well.
