This is a very attractive and good quality early 20th century French wall mirror of great scale dating from the Regency revival period circa 1920.
The beautiful cushion frame has lovely inlaid parquetry work in Kingwood with satinwood florets and ebony stringing and has good quality gilt bronze ormolu mounts to the outer and inner edge as well as elegant Prince of Wales feathers in bronze to the corners.
The fine crest has an inland Kingwood arch with a deep gilt bronze frieze with scrolling pierced acanthus detailing.
This has its original good quality bevelled glass mirror which is in excellent order.
This is in excellent clean condition ready to hang in the home and has a great impact in any room being a nice light colour and such an elegant design.
The mirror has nice proportions measuring 135 cms high by 80 cms wide overall.
