This is an antique morning room book cabinet. An English, walnut and burr walnut mirror front bookcase, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Attractive brass mounts with gilt hues adorn the fascia
Dressed with an ormolu lock escutcheon upon the right hand door — in working order, key present
Left-hand door closes with a pair of internal brass sliding clasps
