A superb quality Regency rosewood inverted breakfront bookcase dating to circa 1820. With a stunning pierced scrolling fretwork back with turned finials above a shelf supported by c-scroll supports, the inverted breakfront top above an open front with two adjustable shelves to each section and standing on a plinth base. In good original condition with an overhang to the back to allow for skirting boards, marks commensurate with age and use, some hairline cracks to the veneers.
