An Antique Table Snuff Box - Women Taking Snuff

Description

This is an interesting birch wood snuff box, it has a pressed wood lid of an old lady taking snuff. She is holding a snuff box in her hand and sniffing the snuff up her nose. There is also a pressed stamp  which looks like  C. W CAMLSON STOCKHOLM, the makers or retailers mark.

It is a deep box and around the edges are impressed decorations. There is some wear to the box .This was either a table snuff box or was for use in a pub or tavern due to the depth of it, so it could hold a lot of snuff.

The box measures 12cm w x 7cm h.
