These are a very attractive pair of early 1920s English armchairs of just the right size for a cottage, apartment or modern home. They sit well, classic English in style and are heavy framed with half hidden castors under bun style feet. Having been fortunate to have enjoyed a recent full professional reupholstery and seen little use since; with restrung springs, new webbing, new filling etc all carefully completed, so we are talking good support, well shaped round arms, decent filled seats cushions. The woven fabric is a floral leaf design in rust, greens and blues - very much William Morris in style with very little wear.
