Gary Wright Antiques Ltd has dated this Ebony Boulle Side Cabinet to the 19th Century.
Raised on a plinth base with a brass moulding and brass stringing. The central door stamped 'Edwards & Roberts, Wardour Street, London' who would have most certainly been the retailers. All three doors with working locks and keys.

Town & Emanuel were the early pioneers of the 19th-century 'Boulle' revival in England; who adapted the finest French designs for the British aristocracy, notably holding a Royal Warrant. They occupied 103 New Bond Street from c1830 until the sale of their 'Magnificent and Extensive Stock' by Christie's on 19 April 1849.
