Description:
Ideal for use as set of Victorian dining chairs, or occasional chairs around the home, from bedroom chairs, to hall chairs, or even for use in the home office. The four mahogany dining chairs are designed with an attractive “kidney” shaped moulded back and curved horizontal splat. The drop-in seats have been newly upholstered to a professional standard in newly in a soft earthy tone colour structured cotton upholstery, finished with a traditional hessian to the underside. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from wear and marks. If you do not like the colour/style of the upholstery, we can recover the seats in a fabric of your choice (we charge £25 labour per seat to recover the seats in your fabric). The four mahogany dining chairs stand on elegant turned fluted legs at the front and sabre legs to the rear.
The chair frames have been cleaned and French-polished by hand to a professional standard. The chairs retain their original patination; therefore, they boast a stunning rich colour. These four mahogany dining chairs would look good anywhere, in either a traditional or contemporary setting. The chairs would certainly grace any home or office and are a great investment, as they are extremely functional.

This is a fine quality antique English Victorian set of four mahogany dining chairs, circa 1860, designed with a “kidney” shaped back, which feature newly upholstered seats, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair frames, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The drop-in seats have been newly upholstered to a professional standard in newly in a soft earthy tone colour structured cotton upholstery, finished with a traditional hessian to the underside. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from wear and marks. If you do not like the colour/style of the upholstery, we can recover the seats in a fabric of your choice (we charge £25 labour per seat to recover the seats in your fabric). The chair frame and joints are all in excellent condition, solid in joint and ready to be used.
