A superb Edwardian Windsor armchair, crafted from oak and elm and presented in original, untouched condition. The hooped top rail and gently curved arms are supported by finely turned spindles and a pierced central splat, leading to a beautifully contoured saddle seat that highlights the rich grain and warm tones of the elm. Raised on four turned legs united by an H stretcher, the chair is structurally sound and stands firm, with no looseness or wobble. Minor age-related imperfections are present, as expected, and only deepen the character and patina of this timeless piece. A classic example of vernacular craftsmanship—elegant in its simplicity and full of rustic charm.
