Pair of French Painted Bergère Dining Arm Chairs

This is a superb pair of painted French armchairs from the 1920s. The original red velvet upholstery remains in very good condition, with only the occasional mark and minor signs of wear. Despite their age, the chairs are in excellent shape: they are solid, robust, and the sprung seats are also in great condition, having been recently restored.
