Description

A beautiful and extremely well made antique French gilt wood salon chair. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is superb, the frame has profuse, crisp and intricate carving throughout. It stands on fluted legs, has scrolled arm rests, it is well padded and comfortable. It is a lovely size, perfect for use as an accent chair around the home.

The condition is excellent for its age, we have had it re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The frame is in lovely condition, with a great patina. There is just some extremely minor wear and light distressing to the gilt finish on some edges, commensurate for age.
