A stunning open armchair attributed to Gillows dating to c1830, the chair has a beautiful colour throughout the mahogany frame with only light wear and marks. It features scrolled arms with upholstery, turned mahogany spindled back, it sits on turned legs with original brass cup castors to the front and squared legs with original brass castors to the rear. The chair has been recently upholstered in a light yellow traditional upholstery which is in good order.
