Charming, authentic examples of English country furniture from the turn of the nineteenth century, these chairs retain their honest, practical character, the later rush seats are well fitted and comfortable, while the warm colour and tactile finish make them equally at home in a farmhouse kitchen or a more refined dining setting.
Presented in very good antique condition with the expected minor wear, historic repairs and colour variation consistent with age. Some evidence of long-dormant worm. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
