A fine and comaprtiviely rare survivor of 18th century English seating chair for rehupolstery.
With serpentine foliage-carved toprail above a back formed of pierced interlocking hexagons with roundels,
above a padded seat for recovering, on square legs joined by stretchers
This chair is for rehupolstery, it is firm of seat and joint with seat back strengthened (from the reverse) in places.
