Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The brown leather has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, the chairs sit on solid mahogany cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving at the knees.
We have had the leather revived and polished by our leather restorer, the legs have also been re-polished. They are in excellent condition for their age, with only some very minor wear here and there. There is one incredibly minor repair to a small nick in the leather, close to where the armrest meets the backrest, and seen in the images.
