A pair of mahogany and satinwood side chairs by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’, with shaped cresting rail with a simple splat in book matched satinwood, the drop in upholstered seat held in place by a simple seat rail with rounded top and shaped frieze at the front, the back legs are slightly out swept, the front with elegant cabriole legs with carving on the knees, finishing on a well carved toe resting on a faceted foot
