A lovely bobbin turned, original ebonised adjustable antique mirror, a very unusual design, having a weighted iron ball at the back with a brass extending tube with what appears to be a hook and handle, most probably to dangle a candle in front of the mirror, to reflect light into a dark corner or to illuminate more for reading or needlework. In very good condition with traces of original decorations on the woodwork. The shaped antique mirror can be angled and is in very good condition. A more unusual table top 19th century antique mirror.
