Description

A fine early 19th century Regency jewellery box, c.1820, covered in rich dark red leather with a warm patina developed over two centuries. The box retains its original brass carrying handles and rests on elegant brass feet, giving it both practicality and presence.

The lid lifts to reveal an empty but lined interior, once designed to house treasured jewellery and personal items. The box comes complete with its working lock and key, a desirable feature for collectors.
