They are of superb quality and have an extremely interesting design.
They are all solid oak, sitting on turned legs with stretchered bases. The arm rests are nicely scrolled and the backs have interesting sloped supports running from the top of the arch to the seats.

We have had the chairs re-polished, and the seat cushions have been newly made in a cream cotton fabric. If someone wanted to recover the cushions in a fabric of their choice, it wouldn’t cost much, because half the work has been done now. The condition is excellent for their age.
