Provenance. Powderham Castle, Devon - England. Home to the Earl of Devon.
The chair retains its original buttoned innards and also the original seat fillings. It also retains its original H&S printed lining.
For restoration and upholstery.
The chair will be restored by us included in the price of the item before we send it off for upholstery. The upholstery cost is not included.
The restoration needed is a new turned front left leg and a new rear right leg along with the right side seat rail and front seat rail. All of which have been affected by worm. The chair sits well and its more of a precaution as the affected pieces are just on the wrong side of restoration and we feel its well worth saving such a good chair by a good maker from such a prestigious location.
