A 17th century oak six plank table box, the lid with original hinges and decorated chip carved edges above a front with good geometric carving. In dry country house condition the, the floor is burr oak , the lock plate is later but otherwise a nice early box with good crisp carving. English/ Welsh Circa 1650.
Our opening times are Monday (by appointment) Tuesday - Saturday 10.30 till 5 pm.
