This is a really nice 19th century mahogany snuff box in the shape of bellows. On the front of the snuff box in brass pique are the words ''FORGET ME NOT''. The back of the box has a sliding lid to access the snuff and is decorated around the edge with brass pins. Note the lovely carved sides, giving the impression of the wood being folded. Very skillful. The box measures 12cm l x 5.5cm w.
