Very Large Antique French Louis Phillipe Arched Shoulder Gilt Gesso Mirror

A very nice and very large example of an antique French wall mirror. Of shouldered form, this Gilt Gesso decorated mirror has some fine decorative detail, with an outer repeating rope twist molding, an inner stylised flower molding and a delicate main gilt decoration in between of repeating floral design. With some lovely shades of gold with rose pink hues , it is a very pleasing piece to the eye. The plate is nicely aged with obvious oxidation, pitting etc features desirable of an old mirror Perfect for any room wall mounted or standing on a floor, a real eye catching piece.
Condition Report:
Very nice original mirror, obvious pitting, oxidation etc to plate, frame has some minor damage associated with the age, no backboards.
